HP 250 G6 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there. I have a HP 250 G6 Notebook PC that currently has 8GB RAM in it (what it came with when I bought it a few years back). Is it possible to upgrade it up to 16GB or maybe even 32GB?

Details of my laptop are below:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz

System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Will it also upgrade to Windows 11 if I add more memory?

Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

The machine supports max 16GB of DDR4 2400Mhz RAM (2x8GB). The RAM will run at 2133Mhz.

Example

https://it.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-250-g6-(intel-core-i7-7500u---i5-7200u-...

On page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM

I would also insert a SATA3 SSD if it does not have one.

Hope it helps,

David
