Example: Pavilion G4 1303au
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade RAM. I checked the RAM type installed in my laptop in CPU -5 SOFTWARE. It was 2gb ddr3 PC -3 12800 (800 mhz).

But ram with this clock speed is not available in market. Can I insert similar RAM with 1600 mhz speed? Or suggest some other solution.

Regards.

Hi:

You can install up to 2 x 4 GB of memory in your notebook.

DDR3L-1600 (12800) memory should work just fine.

Single 4 GB chip

Crucial 4GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM | CT51264BF160B | Crucial IN

2 x 4 GB kit:

Crucial 8GB Kit (2 x 4GB) DDR3L-1600 SODIMM | CT2KIT51264BF160B | Crucial IN

You're very welcome.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

The supported processors can be found in chapter 1.

It looks like the best one you can upgrade to would be the AMD A8-3520M.
