hiya!
I bought this laptop today and already thinking of upgrading it to increase the speed of it.
Could anybody point me towards compatible RAM (brand + names or reputable shops in the UK) that will bring my laptop to 8GB or more (but not so the system can't handle it efficiently)
I'm comfortable with taking apart my laptop but if there are any tutorials I'll also gladly take them.
I understand that my laptop is a little slow at first due to updates that are installing in the background!!
thank you 🙂

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
According to the manual, your notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory that runs at 2400 MHz.
This would be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your notebook.
