Hello, I have 2 x 4GB(PC3-12800) RAM on my HP Pavilion 17-e019dx; I want to upgrade it to 2 x 8GB, with the following option: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8C37DH/?coliid=I2MFPIXEVTSYBE&colid=3JS0RLAXRTUEO&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig...
Will it work?
Thanks in advance!

Looks like the max limit is 8GB, which is confirmed from the following vendor
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-17-e019dx
You can try 2 x 8GB at your own risk.
Regards.

Hi,
Yes, the notebook will run with 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz such as the ones you linked, even if the service manual mentions 8GB.
Hope it helps,
David

Thanks for your answer, lomare!
Could you please tell me what would happen if I insert/install my mentioned new Ram set(2 x 8 GB) but my notebook would not support it; will I get warning/signal after starting my Notebook or maybe my Notebook will brake without any warnings?
