Product: HP Notebook - 15-ay198nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer came with 8GB of memory and I would like to know if I can upgrade to 16GB and if there is a specific brand of DDR4 SDRAM I should use for best results.  Also, is there a YouTube video with instructions for installing the memory?

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

 

Your laptop comes in different models -- some of which only have one memory slot, while others have two.

 

Here is the link to the Maintenance and Service Guide for your PC:  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05122688

 

Instructions for disassembling the laptop to get at the memory modules start on page 49.
