Hello !

 

I looking to upgrade my laptop's RAM to boost the performance. Before start shopping I need to know what are the compatible upgrades for my laptop RAM.

I'm using HP 15-bw536au laptop which has AMD A6-9220 Radeon R4 and it has 4GB 1Rx16 PC4-2400T-SC0-11 one RAM module installed. 20210308_205911.jpgCapture.JPG(I have attached screenshots and photos for better understanding)

I prefer to upgrade my ram to 16GB (8GBx2) to get better performance.

If you have any answers please post your answer with product links such as amazon, ebay, newegg etc where I can buy and upgrade without any hesitation.

Hi:

 

Doesn't your notebook only have one memory slot with the A6 processor?

 

If so, you can remove the 4 GB memory chip and replace it with an 8 GB memory chip.

 

If it does have two memory slots (the service manual indicates that there is only one), then you can also install an 8 GB memory chip in the second slot.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.  The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
