Hi
My convertible 2 in 1 is not as snappy as it used to be. I want to know about i) if my notebook can be upgraded with another 8GB RAM ii) if I could go for Optane in this notebook iii) better choice between these 2 options iv) will I be able to observe result either with upgraded RAM or Optane and lastly v) If I could go for another 8GB RAM + Optane together.
Thanking you in advance in anticipation of your co-operation...

Here is what the laptop looks like inside:
M.2 slot circled in red
Max memory is actually 32 gigs: a pair of 16 gb DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM so that also means you can have a pair of 8s i.e. you can add another 8 gb module. There is an M.2 slot which would support an Optane module but let me suggest for not much more money just get a 2280 form factor NVME M.2 SSD and use it as the system or boot disk. If you had 16 gb RAM and an NVME main boot disk you would no longer be running slow at all.
