Hi everyone, new here. Bought this HP laptop today from Argos. Model number ‘15-eh0006na’. Says the laptop comes with 4GB DDR4 RAM. Basically just wondering if anyone knows whether this can be removed and replaced with an 8 or a 16GB DDR4 RAM stick? Laptop seems more than good enough for me as is, but everyone loves more RAM. Don’t want to go through the bother of dissembling it to find the RAM can’t be removed etc etc.
Cheers!

You're very welcome.
I suppose you can use any compatible DDR4 memory but do not use gaming or performance memory because you can't change the memory timings/XMP profile in the BIOS and many times the faster timing gaming/performance memory will probably not work.
You should use DDR4-3200 memory because that is what the service manual specifies.

Hi:
Yes, you can upgrade the memory.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade information.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 memory is supported.
This would be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your notebook.

This would be a compatible 16 GB memory chip for your notebook...since Crucial indicates you can actually install up to 2 x 16 GB of memory.
