Upgrading Ram In model 15-ay563tu

I want to upgrade my ram of laptop model-> 15-ay563tu currently have 4gb of ram and wana upgrade it to 12gb means i need extra 8gb ...

Information-> DDR4 

RAM SPEED-> 2400

processor -> i3 

please give be the best 8gb ram i can get as i am a programmer machine learning starter , etc's ,,,,,,,,,,

Hi:

I recommend you get an 8 GB memory module from Crucial as they guarantee compatibility.

You may be able to get the part you want cheaper by googling the part number on Amazon or elsewhere.

One day, I recommend you replace the 4 GB memory chip with an 8 GB one because the memory will run in the higher performing dual data rate (DDR) mode with matching capacities (2 x 4, 2 x 8).

When you install memory in mismatched capacities (4 + 8, 2 + 4), the memory runs in the lower performing single data rate (SDR) mode.

as i am in india crucial.com does not ships there so i am buying from amazon....

i have picked it from crucial.com which you have provided in your porst but in amazon there are two options which one would be better either updated one or non updated on both are of 8 gb 's please  tell me  one please check it ....

I don't think it would make any difference in the performance, so I would go with the less expensive model, but that is up to you.

Both part numbers are listed as supported.

If you look on the US website where they have reviews, the part number I posted has better reviews than the one you posted (if that matters).
