HP ENVY x360 - 13-ag0022au

Hi, I wanna ask regarding of my pc memory issues and i think my memory usage is unexpectedly high when i started up my pc and i decided to upgrade my RAM. So the first thing is, can i upgrade my ram in a HP ENVY x360 - 13-ag0022au or not?

If yes then what memory is compatible to my laptop aka HP ENVY x360 - 13-ag0022au?

If no then how to free up my ram so it doesn't get warm when i touch it?

Hi,

It is not possible to upgrade the RAM in your notebook as it is onboard, meaning it is integrated in the motherboard (soldered), so there is no slot for any possible upgrades.

Now, the RAM is not heating up the PC. The heat is usually generated by the CPU/GPU so under load the PC will heat up. A lot of modern notebooks are not really laptops anymore as they really can get warm.

Now, there could be something constantly running in the background keeping the CPU under load. You could check the load of the CPU in Task Manager and see if it constantly above 25% or more.

You should also keep the notebook completely updated through Windows and HP support assistant.

Hope it helps,

David
