HP Laptop - 15-ef0023dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased a HP Laptop - 15-ef0023dx. It came with a PCIe 256g. I was wondering if there is an empty slot for a regular SATA SSD? Or possibly another slot to install another PCIe?

If not, what is the max GB allowed if I decide to replace the PCIe 256g?

Thanks

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.

You cannot add a 2.5" drive.  There is only one M.2 slot available for the SSD and that is in use.

You could replace the current M.2 SSD with one up to 1 TB in size.

Below is the link to the crucial memory/SSD report for a very similar model as yours, and they show it will support a 1 TB M.2 SSD.
