Hi Paul I am sorry I'm writing you in the wrong topic but I did not find any way to write to you.
I have an HP Pavilion 13-s140nz and I want to upgrade my Wifi module as it's old and not very efficient.
The manual says : Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 ac 1×1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter 784644-005; Intel 3165NGWG 1 ac 1×1 + Bluetooth 4.0 LE PCIe+USB NGFF 2230 Worldwide Combo Adapter 806723-005; Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n 1×1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter for use in all countries and regions except Brazil 792610-005; Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n 1×1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter for use only in Brazil 792610-205
Can you please tell me what is the most recent wifi module I can replace the old with to have a higher throughput ? Thank you very much Paul

Hi:
None of the Wi-Fi adapters listed in the service manual would provide better throughput than what you have now.
Since I have no data on anyone upgrading the Wi-Fi in that model series, anything you try would be an experiment, with no guarantee it would work.
Two suggestions...
1. A Wi-Fi adapter contemporary to when your notebook was made:
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 802.11ac 2 × 2 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter HP part # 793840-005
This card would have twice the throughput as yours has (867 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band).
2. Go for the very best possible upgrade you could try:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005
You should be able to find either model on eBay.
Search by the HP part number.
I don't know what your options are in Switzerland.
I would think you have the options of eBay France, eBay Italy, or eBay Germany.

Thank you very much Paul.
This is Perfectly what I understood and I was tempted to try the Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 model. I'll go for this solution and give you some update.
Thanks for taking the time to help us 🙂
Have a great day Paul.
Kindest regards.

Actually i'll even go for this one :
WISE TIGER AX210NGW - Carte WiFi 6E 11AX - Module WiFi 2 x 2 MU-MIMO - Carte sans Fil Double Bande a...
as my router (livebox 6 in France) takes in charge the Wi-Fi 6 and the Wi-Fi 6E.
I hope the upgrade won't be too violent for my ("old") laptop 😄

I don't know if that card will work.
It does not have the same SPS number (L35282-005), as the card I suggested.
The SPS number on the card you posted is M27269-005, and it is an Intel AX210.
I would be very surprised if the AX210 works.
That may be stretching things too far.
