Hello,
I am using an HP Pavilion 15 CC129TX Notebook Laptop and have been facing several issues with my Wi-Fi connectivity recently. I suspect it might be a driver-related issue, so I am considering replacing the Wi-Fi card.
Currently, my laptop has the following Wi-Fi card:
Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265
Official specifications
I am considering upgrading to:
Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200
Official specifications
I would like to know whether my laptop supports this upgrade. Will the AX200 be fully compatible with my system, or is there a BIOS restriction or any other hardware limitation?
I need a stable Wi-Fi connection for my work, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi:
I can't find any discussions where anyone tried to upgrade the Wi-Fi card in the 15-cc model series.
I think that the Intel AX200 should work, but no one will be able to confirm that with a 100% guarantee.
You need to get one with this SPS#/HP part number.
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 + Bluetooth 5 (non-vPro) HP part #/SPS # L35282-005.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure:
