Hello,
I've been meaning to replace the wi-fi card on my Probook X360 435 G8.
It currently has an RTL8822CE adapter installed, and I'm wondering if it's possible to replace it with a MT7925 wi-fi 7 adapter from mediatek, and would drivers be available?

Update: it works
After installing drivers for it, had a little problem with the Bluetooth, which turns out was caused by the old Realtek card still being detected in device manager. (uninstalled it via hidden devices)
Wi-fi now connects quite a bit faster (shaved a few seconds), but I unfortunately can't test any speed improvements because my access point is only a Wi-fi 4.
Bluetooth also had improvements, when connecting to a BT5.3 headset, It's now near instantaneous compared to the seconds it takes with the Realtek card.

You will likely have to look to MediaTek and Microsoft for Windows 11 drivers for the device.
There are drivers available.

Hi, @prawn432
I would speculate that the odds of a Wi-Fi 7card working in your notebook are not very good.
There are no discussions on this forum where anyone has tried to upgrade the Wi-Fi card in your notebook's model series.
It would be a complete experiment on your part.
The card was not offered as an option in the model series (see chapter 3 of the service manual).
HP did offer the Intel AX200 Wi-Fi card with the following part number, which would still be an improvement over the RTL8822CE.
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5 (non-vPro) HP part # L35282-002
You can find this part number on eBay:
But if you want to try the MT7925 card, HP has the drivers for it.

If you do, please post back and let us know if it worked.
The HP part number/description for the card is:
