I am looking to replace the Realtek RTL8852BE WiFi on my HP 250 10 (i3 13th Gen) Laptop with an Intel one. What part number of the Intel wifi card would be compatible with this? I would prefer the best one, which is probably the AX211 WiFi 6E one, if I am not wrong?

HP only offered Realtek Wi-Fi 6 cards in the model series, so any other card you install will be an experiment on your part.

The AX211 won't work because that is a CNVi card and only would work as a replacement if your notebook originally came with that model card.

What Are the Intel® Integrated Connectivity (CNVi) and Companion RF...

You can try either of these two cards which have a good chance of working:

Look for these part numbers:

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # / SPS # M27269-005.

Intel BE200 M.2 2230 Wi-Fi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4 non-vPro WW WLAN module   HP part # N39883-001

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.

Thank you, going for the AX210 one. Will report back once installed.

You're very welcome.

Your notebook has to have the  Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi adapter and not the 6 RTL8852BE-VS Wi-Fi adapter which only uses one antenna wire to work.

The RTL8852BE Wi-Fi and both Intel cards must have two Wi-Fi antenna wires in order to work properly.

HP Recommended

Thank you. It's the RTL8852BE one so hoping for the AX210 to work without any issues.

Me too.

Looking forward to reading about the results of your notebook's Wi-Fi upgrade project.
