I have a Dv7t with the solid state cache. Both the cache and hard drive have been giving me problems and I would like to upgrade to a ssd 1tb hard drive and eliminate the cache.
Should I physically remove the cache?
I have been using Mirror Folder to back up. Can I reinstall the mirrored hard drive “Image” onto the new ssd drive or will the changed configuration without the cache make this unworkable?
