I want to up grade my hp 15-da0xxx. I want to buy KingFast 256GB SSD SATA3 2.5" Solid State Drive or Hiksemi SILK(S) 512GB SATAIII 2.5" SSD. The 512GB won’t make the laptop crash? And if add 2 16gb rams it won’t crash?

If your notebook has an Intel core processor, you can do even better than a SATA SSD.
Install a M.2 NVMe SSD which will be around 3x faster than a SATA SSD.
If your notebook has an Intel core processor, it will support 2 x 16 GB of DDR4 memory.
You can run this command to confirm that:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
