My current laptop (m7-k111dx) has a slow hard drive and I am thinking about putting an m.2 ssd in the slot. I am currently set on the HP ex900 NVMe 500 GB. Will this ssd fit in the slot? Can I boot from it? Any information is helpful. If this ssd is not compatible with my computer, please list some that are. I want to upgrade to its heigest within 10000 INR

NVME will not work it has to be SATA M.2. Here is the Service Manual:
The M.2 slot is on the backside of the motherboard so no easy matter to access it.
Here is a 1 TB that would work for just a bit less than your stated budget:
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

I have 12GB of RAM that comes with the system.
4-GB memory module (PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHz)
8-GB memory module (PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHz)
Thanks for your quick response. I will try to upgrade my laptop with M.2 MX500 and will share my experience here.
Thanks once again

Mx500 is not available in m.2 version in the market. and the one on amazon is without warranty. In Manual as well it's not written that NVMe will not work. I am not able to find any m.2 in the market with warranty
