Hello everyone I'm new here.So I have a HP Laptop and i bought 8GB DDR4 ram for it.It already has 8GB installed. So I bought more which would give it 16GB altogether. But I can't find any videos on how to take the back or front off to install the new memory for it.Can someone point me to a video on how to take it apart to install the new memory?I tried looking on Youtube and came up with nothing for the make and model of my HP laptop. So I stopped and didn't wanna completely ruin my laptop lol.I cant afford to take it anywhere and have someone do it.So I kinda wanna do this myself on the cheap side.As I'm on a fixed income and I did call around and the prices are way out of my budget. So I figure I would post here and maybe someone can find a video with the same make and model of my laptop which would help me.Or similar to my HP laptop.Maybe someone from HP can help me.Thank you

Hi:
What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
Find Your HP Laptop Name, Product Number, or Serial Number | HP Notebooks | HP Support
You can also find your PC's product number by clicking on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.
Type: System Information
The System information app should show up.
Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.

The safest approach is to follow a step-by-step disassembly guide for laptops with similar layouts. Focus on removing the bottom panel carefully using a screwdriver, grounding yourself to avoid static damage, and gently sliding the RAM into its slot. If unsure, a trusted laptop repair guide or professional service can safely walk you through the process, even on a budget. Doing it right ensures your laptop runs smoothly with the upgraded 16GB memory.
