HP Envy x360 m6-aq005dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

good afternoon,

I have a HP Envy x360 m6-aq005dx with 12gb RAM 2133mhz and I need to increase the memory capacity.

What is the maximum RAM that my computer supports?

and I need to know if the memory has to be unbuffered or registered.?

Machines supports 16GB max that means you have to replace 4GB with the SAME 8GB on other slot OR use the following compatible RAM

      https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/envy-x360-m6-aq005dx/CT11972627

Note: 2400MHz will be downgraded to 2133MHz automatically.

Regards.

Now the question is, what kind of memory i need to buy to upgrade from 12gb to 16gb, dual rank or single rank?

Of course I read your answer, but the question now is whether the memory can be single bank or dual bank .... or it does not matter?
