Hello, I'd like to know if I upgrade my memory by adding another stick to the second slot by myself, will it void my warranty? I still have 18 months left and I want to increase my current memory by 8gb.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to upgrade the memory on the computer and whether it is void the warranty.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

You can go ahead and upgrade the memory on the computer, and it will not void the warranty unless you break anything on the computer.

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that your computer supports up to 16GB of RAM.

Refer to the below service guide for more information.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
