I want to upgrade my secondary drive to SAMSUNG 870 QVO 8 TB SATA 2.5 but I'm unsure of its compatibility with my system. I need a little guidance on this. I do a lot of editing, designing and gaming and sometimes need a lot of space. 8 TB is the ideal space. Nothing lower than that.

It has second drive which is a 2.5" SATA HDD with thickness 9.5mm. The Samsung 870 has 7mm thickness therefore you need a 9.5mm adapter.
I know Crucial has 9.5mm adapter on its MX500 drives, I don't think Samsung supplies that therefore it is much better to use Crucial MX500 drives
Regards.
