My Laptop is a HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC (purchased around 2009-10 I think).  It came with 6GB ram and a 466 HDD.  At the time it was the fastest windows laptop in the store (Fry's or CompUSA I think)

I am researching upgrading to 16 GB ram and 1-2 TB SSD.  It is currently running windows 7 premium (64 bit).  If I am able to upgrade the hardware will I be able to run Windows 11 home or Pro?

I am new so if I should post this elsewhere let me know. Thanks for any advice!
