Hello there,
This is an old school question. Anyone remember the HP Tx2 tablets? Well this is regarding the Hp TouchSmart tx2-1020us.
It comes with a AMD Turion x2 ultra Dual-Core mobile ZM-82 2.2ghz processor. My question is whether it can be upgraded to a AMD Turion 64 Mobile Dual-Core ZM-86 or ZM-87? Either processor will run at 2.4ghz.

Please check the list on page 69 of the following manual
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03182908.pdf
Manual also shows you how to replace CPU.
Please note: You need right part number.
Regards.

Heh, that's actually where I obtain the information from. I just wasn't too sure if they're capatable specfically for the tx2-1020us version. Seeing as other tx2 modules have a different AMD Turion RM or ZM, i'm pretty ignorant in that aspect.
