Hello can anyone please help me I have recently got the hp pavilion 15ec 0101ax . As there is an extra slot for ssd and ram I was Wondering if I could upgrade the laptop with ram and ssd myself which I know how to do it but there are few questions I would like to ask first
1) if I upgrade the ram and ssd from 3rd party like crucial will I void the warranty of my laptop
2) do we have to change or alter settings in the laptop after installing the ram and ssd
3) if I reinstall the windows 10 to the newly added ssd will that newly installed windows OS be authentic like will I get future updates like I used to get before.
4) And I have a request of anyone can help me to flash the current hdd and install new and fresh windows 10

A1. Warranty is a grey/gray area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty. Hope this makes sense.
A2. No,
A3. Yes, new installed Windows 10 uses the product key embedded in BIOS of your machine.
A4. You can install a fresh copy with Windows 10 using
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Windows 10 will automatically activate using the key which is mentioned on A3. above.
Regards.
