@tom_x360 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to upgrade the memory.

Do not worry. I will help you in this regard.

Your product Supports up to 16 GB maximum system memory in the following conƭgurations

● 16 GB (8 GB × 2)

● 12 GB (8 GB × 1 + 4 GB × 1)

● 8 GB (8 GB × 1 or 4 GB × 2)

● 4 GB (4 GB × 1)

You can also check in the manual ( page number 1,2)

You could purchase the part from HP, use the HP Parts surfer to identify the part: http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx

And order it via the HP Parts store: https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/CountryChoice.aspx?mscssid=&ccode=ZZ&lcode=ZZ

Or alternatively, Contact HP for setting up an order/service via phone support

The manual is for core i7 8th gen, while my HP is uses Intel® Core™ i7-10510U (1.8 GHz base frequency, up to 4.9 GHz base with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 8 MB cache, 4 cores). Any difference for maximum memory upgrade?

@tom_x360

I understand your concerns.

There is no difference in a maximum memory upgrade.

According to the manual, it supports only 16 GB of maximum system memory.

Have a nice day!!
