Hi. I've been wanting to add ram to my new laptop but I don't know whether it does have second ram slot or not. And does adding ram would void the whole device's warranty i.e, when the ram slot failed, would HP replace the motherboard for free bcos my old laptop's second ram slot actually got fried when I placed a new ram.

@Onew

Page 2 of the following manual shows you all

   http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06146792.pdf

At your own RISK, you can use page 40 to get part # and how to add/replace RAM

Again Warning : This work is for Authorized Service Provider parts only. Doing it yourself may void warranty if something went wrong due to this upgrade.

Regards.
