Hello guys,

I want to upgrading my ssd m. 2 nvme, from the description product that they said is for ssd m. 2 only up to 256gb,

From that case i want to ask :

1. Is it possible to upgrading ny ssd m. 2 nvme to 512gb or 1TB ?

2. What if i'm using gen 4 m. 2 ssd, does it will work or i'm just use the 3rd gen only?

I really appreciate that you guys want to answer this question, thank you!

Its specs

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06213463#AbT6

It only supports M.2 SATA SSD

1. You can upgrade 500GB to 1TB or 2TB

2. It uses SATA 3 .

You are saying your machine has NVMe drive, what is it ?

Regards.

Hi, @doughlas23

Since your notebook has an AMD Ryzen processor, it will support a NVMe SSD.

See this discussion which I answered yesterday...

A PCIe Gen 4 SSD will work in your notebook, but only at the Gen 3 speed, because your notebook's M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3.
