HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p010ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All, I want to upgrade the RAM in the PC to 32G

I need to know the current RAM, pin configuration, and serial number of the new RAM I want to purchase. I would prefer to use HP branded products.

Thanks

The specs of your machine is

             https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05535438

It clearly says

  • Dual channel memory architecture
  • Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
  • Supports up to PC4-19200 (DDR4-2400)
  • Supports 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB UDIMMs
  • Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
    note:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
  • Supports up to 16 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit computers

Crucial says you can use

         https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4dfd824a/ct10438217

or     https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/cp2k16g4dfra32a/ct24205281     (will run at 2400MHz)

Regards.
