Hi, I wanna upgrade my HP laptop and I don't know if this SSD is compatible with my laptop model . Can anyone help me please? 

Laptop name: HP ProBook 450 G3

Hi:

 

That drive should be fine, since chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual indicates that SATA M.2 SSD's are supported.

 

HP ProBook 450 G3 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

The drive capacities listed in the manual are normally what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

NVMe SSD's are not supported in that model series which is why it didn't work.

 

M.2 2280 SSD (NGFF), SATA-3
