May I ask what is the max. capacity of SSD I can use for my laptop? Also, what SATA type is my laptop using? Thanks.

Looks like your machine only has SATA 2 controller and no SATA 2 SSD on market today. But SATA 3 is backword compatible and you can use SATA 3 SSD on your computer.
