I would upgrade my HDD to Smamsung Evo SSD. THe BIOS IS F.20. Is it possibile and worth? Will my BIOS recognize and boot from The SSD? I found in the SATA\IDE connector in the actual HDD, so no isssues with SSD physical connection. Will I get any impressive boost of performances (like in newer laptops)?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
It is possible and the performance would be slightly better. However we recommend you to visit a local authorized service center before making any changes.
I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any further assistance.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
