Hello,

 

Guys I want to upgrde my PC from 512 GB HDD to SSHD, will my PC support it? And can i upgarde my PC's RAM from 4GB to 8GB?

We need the exact model number on the memory and to provide you instructions on "how to". On the SSHD yes they are drop in replacements for SATA hard drives. You might consider a full on solid state drive. A bit more money but significantly faster.

Yes, SSDs will be faster but I can't compromise on Data storage, that's why i am thinking of installing SSHD.

See pp. 59 and 76 for hard drive and memory. This is one of the tougher ones to work on and memory upgrade means removing the motherboard. 

 

Yes I already said you can use an SSHD as any laptop that uses a SATA hard drive can use an SSHD. I just do not understand what you mean by your data. An SSHD is still a mechanical hard drive with all the potential problems those have.

 

SSDs actually less prone to problems...there was a lot of caution when they first came out about their lifespan, etc. but it has proven to be no real issue.
