HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Here is something that I can't understand. i have upgrade my Elitebook 840 G1 replacing the Microphone only device by a Microphone + Webcam device (the small card which is at top of the screen).

After booting the laptop I notice that the Camera does not appear in the Device Manager. I thought that the new card was not working, or that the driver was not present. Actually the microphone was working as before not the new webcam.

After a lot of rechearches on the web, I finally open the Camera software which is provided with Windows 10 and the image appears miraculeously. I tried some others Cam softwares which all work fine and access the webcam correctly.

But the Device Manager still won't show the Camera (hidden  devices checked)..

Does anybody can explain me this strangeness ?
