My hard drive failed and I wish to upgrade to a solid state drive. Which one will be compatible with my HP pavilion 15-ab027cl, product ID M1Y15UA#ABA?

You can replace existing 1TB 5400RPM hard drive with 2.5" SSD drive such as Crucial MX500, Samsung 860/870 EVO or similar from other vendors. For example
