this is my laptop hard disk config
Hard drives
Supports 6.35-cm (2.5-in) SATA hard drives in 9.5-mm (.37-in) and 7.2-mm (.28in) thicknesses
Support for SSD + HDD
Support for m.2 SATA SSD
Single hard drive configurations:
● 2-TB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm or 7.2-mm
● 1-TB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm or 7.2 mm
● 500-GB, 5400 rpm, 7.0-mm
eMMC configurations:
● 128 GB
M.2 SATA-3 configurations (value):

if i will add more than 256 ssd in m2 slot with 1 tb hdd.. will it support? or max is 256 gb m2 ssd with 1 tb hdd

The manual is just a list of original configurations made at the HP factory. There is no limit on the capacity of M.2 SSD you can install other than your budget and what is being made by storage manufacturers.

So i can install a 480 gb or higher capacity ssd m2 sata with existing 1 tb hdd despite it is not recommended or mentioned in manual 256 gb m2 sata+1 tb hdd
Can i use nvme pcie or its not supported
If not please specify the supported m2 type
