I would like to know if my laptop will allow me to upgrade the wlan card from the MT7921 to the MT7925. The laptop has all the pins needed to support the new card, and the antennas are capable of the 6ghz band. I would like to know if the motherboard bios will accept the card or block it, as it seems hp has historicaly had wlan card whitelists.
this is the card I am looking at

Unfortunately, no one would be able to answer your question.
You can try the card and report back if it works or not, or you can play it safe and install the MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5.3 wireless card that was offered in the model series.
