Envy 15-k002ne

Hello I have HP Envy 15-k002ne and I have a problem with ram, so I suggest to replace the factory rams which they ddr3l 16gb with 32gb ddr4, If I do this it will work fine without any problem or I will face Issues ?

Hi:

What you want to do is impossible.

You cannot install DDR4 memory in a motherboard that was designed to run DDR3L memory for 3 reasons:

1.  DDR4 memory runs at a lower voltage than DDR3L memory does.

2.  DDR4 memory has a different number of contact pins than DDR3L memory does.

3. The notch in the DDR4 memory is cut in a different place than in the DDR3L memory module, which prevents it from fitting in the slot.

You can install a maximum of 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L memory in your PC.
