HP EliteBook 840 G3 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When to try to upgrade my TPM from 1.2 to 2.0 I get " The Firmware image cannot be used to upgrade the current TPM Firmware." Not sure why I'm getting it. I have the proper bin file that shows on myTPM.msc file, IFX 6.43 1.2 and I'm using the TPM config64 since my laptop is windows 10 64 bit. So why won't it work.TPM

The series has 2 options

Supports Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 or 2.0 (Infineon, soldered down)

Device Manager can tell you which one, for example
