Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z7AV)

Dear HP Support Team,

I am writing to report a serious issue with my HP Victus laptop that appears to be a manufacturing defect, as highlighted by multiple users on the official HP forums.

The hinge of my laptop has become excessively stiff and is now snapping the lid casing, causing visible damage to the area where the screen is attached to the lower body. As a result of this, the laptop no longer opens or closes properly and I fear that further use may lead to complete screen failure.

I have always handled the device with care, and this issue has developed over time without any accidental damage or mishandling. It seems to be consistent with the known hinge problems affecting other HP Victus devices, as reported online.

Here are my device details for reference:

Model: HP Victus 16-e0361ax

Product number: 552X2PA#ACJ

Serial Number: [edited]

Warranty: Expired

I kindly request that HP address this issue by providing a repair or replacement of the defective parts at no additional cost, as this is clearly related to product design or manufacturing quality.

Please advise me on the next steps, including how to initiate the repair process and any documents or photographs you may need from my side.

Thank you for your prompt attention. I look forward to your support in resolving this matter.

Best regards,

Jhil Trivedi,

Mumbai.
