Linux

I'm using a hp 450 g1 core i5 laptop and this occurred when I was using window and I thought it was a driver issues. I switched my operating system to Linux mint 20.2 but I'm still having the issues. Even when I switched to Linux zorin the issues persisted. I can't connect usb devices and charge my laptop at the same time. I would have to unplug the charging cable to be able to use usb devices because the device will continue to disconnect and reconnect just flashing

Hello,

it could be that the output voltage (V) and/or current (A) of the USB ports fluctuates and therefore the connected devices are disconnected, when you connect your charger. Does this problem happen with all USB ports or only with some of them?

best regards

It happens with all usb port. But if I connect a mouse or keyboard there's no problem but when it comes to a flashdrive or phone it starts disconnecting and reconnecting
