Want to switch to ahci in bios but the only bios f10 gets me to is a childproof Barbie bios that offers no options except boot order and password choice.

Is there a secret grownup bios or is barbie it ?

The storage controller is only capable of running in ahci mode so no need to change that. But to answer directly, you are stuck with Barbie BIOS (or maybe Ken BIOS so as to avoid any hint of suggestion that females-even fictitious ones- are less tech savvy).
