Unfortunately, you have been given information that is completely inaccurate.
If you want to increase RAM, you will need to upgrade your installed memory with compatible Memory module(s).
"Using ready boost, allow the laptop to see it as RAM" That is simply not possible.
Memory cards, specifically sdhc cards as you have asked about, can only be used as storage and are not suitable or even fast enough to be used for anything else.
