Can I output video to my monitors from the USB port?  The monitors have HDMI and VGA ports.  If this is possible what kind of adapter / hub do I need?

@Texsilvan Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to connect the USB Ctype to the External monitor.

I have checked the manual.

USB Type-C port Connects a USB device, such as a cell phone, camera, activity tracker, or smartwatch, and provides data transfer. NOTE: Cables and/or adapters (purchased separately) may be required.

It is not possible to connect an external monitor using a USB C type port.

You have to use the HDMI port.
