I would like to use the powercord from an older HP Pavillion 13 x360 with a newer HP 14-cf000dx

This is an example of an adapter specified for the 14-cf000 series:

Its the same 4.5mm barrel connector and 19.5v output so it can work on the newer laptop. I cannot find full specs on the 14-cf000dx. The only hesitation would be the adapter you show is 45w and the newer one may need a 65w adapter. An underpowered adapter can cause problems. The bottom info plate on the laptop should say what power it needs.
