Hi I have Hp Pavillion X360-s102tu model with 4gb Ram and 1tb HDD 5400RPM
i am looking to use the msata drive as boot drive while upgrading the existing one to 250gb(samsung 850)
Will it be possible or it is best to replace 1tb HDD to SSD??

If you are looking for better performance then it is recommended to use SSD for the OS and you can always keep the 1 TB Hard drive for data
You need to install the new SSD drive, install the OS on the new SSD drive and then later add the 1 TB back
Hope this helps
Keep me posted if you need further assistance
Thank you and have a great weekend 😊
