I have a battery not is about to fail, and I mostly have my laptop plugged in at all times, aspect when I use it at work.
I am planning on buying a new battery to replace the old one, but I wanted to know if I can use my laptop plugged in without the battery in it.

So I use a HP Envy x360 Ryzan 5 laptop and I wanted to know if I can remove the battery from the laptop and just keep on using it with it plugged in?

You can but if you turn off power all the settings in the BIOS will be lost like time, boot order, etc. You really need a battery.
