HP Pavilion Plus Laptop 14-ey0000sl

Hi, I can't find the option in the BIOS to adjust the amount of RAM to dedicate to the integrated GPU. It seems to be stuck on 512MB. Unfortunately, some software I use are not able to use the dynamically shared memory managed by the operating system. I have already updated the BIOS to the latest available version F.06 Rev.A. Do you know if there is any way to unlock the hidden settings or can I only hope for a future update? Thanks.

Hi @Francesco1010

This function does not exist only in some devices of the business line and it only allows 512 MB.

@Resistencia I did not understand.

Anyway every PC with integrated graphics I've seen in the past had this setting including my 4 year old HP laptop which was cheaper than this. It's a huge miss in my opinion.

I chose this laptop mainly for the 780M. If I had known that it was not usable due to this unacceptable sloppiness I would have bought the lenovo yoga slim 6 gen 8

it's just a hp software problem, i'm waiting for a solution.

it's not a software problem or anything else, they are designed so you can't increase the VRAM in the BIOS, You will not be able to do anything, that is the answer to your question, there is no way to change it,

Since no rationale was provided for this alleged decision to hide this setting thus compromising correct functioning, for me it is a defect in the BIOS software until proven otherwise.
