Hello Community,

I just reset my computer because of that stupid Windows update, it completely made my computer inoperable.  So now, I am re-installing a lot of programs through the HP Support Assistant.  The update, "AMD Radeon RX Vega M Driver" is not downloading for some reason, I want it to overwrite the current driver that is installed but the install gets cancelled.  However, the current driver that I do have installed is saying that an update is ready to be installed but it won't install the update, it seems to freeze and that spinning loading symbol just spins and spins and nothing ever happens.  How do i troubleshoot this?

thanks!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Resolve most HP Support Assistant issues by downloading and installing the latest version of HP Support Assistant.

Try uninstalling the HP support assisant and reinstall the lastest versio from here: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

Use the information in this document to troubleshoot specific HP Support Assistant issues: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03601631

And, also try doenlaoding the AMD drivers from the AMD webiste: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-driver-autodetect and update the driver using auto detect tool.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
