According to the specs for the model series, support for two NVMe SSD"s is supported in models with the following processors:
AMD Ryzen™ AI, Ryzen™ 7 H 255, AMD Ryzen™ 7 260, Ryzen™ 5 240
Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb3000 series specifications | HP® Support
From the information I could find, the HP Victus15-fb3001nr laptop has an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, so I take it to indicate the notebook has support for two NVMe SSDs since it has a Ryzen AI processor.
HP only has the service manual for the original model series, so that won't be of any help other than with taking the notebook apart.

Exactly, it has two slots, the link is incorrect info, this is the service manual.

Hi, @resistencia
I can't find an illustration of one of the motherboards that supposedly comes with 2 slots and the service manual you posted only has the motherboard part numbers for the motherboards we know for sure only come with one slot.
Chapter 1 of the service manual does list dual NVMe SSD support.
Thanks for providing the current service manual.
HP had indicated that they would not be updating the manuals as new models in the same series were rolled out.
My advice to you would be to open up the notebook and confirm how many SSD slots the PC comes with if you own the PC or decide to purchase it.

Hi!
I too realized that HP had uploaded a new manual for this (current) 15-fb series only a few weeks ago while answering an upgrade question about one of its models: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/Ram-speed-after-upgrade/m-p/9418650#M66288 .
Paul, the datasheet's info on the second slot is inconclusive when it comes to the AMD 340 and 350 CPU motherboards. It's a matter of how you interpret its meaning. However, just a few days ago there was confirmation on Reddit about your hypothesis being correct. User GregBunny 's system will have a second unoccupied SSD slot. No need to open it up.
By the way, it's interesting that the discrete NVIDIA 5050 and 5060 GPUs (seen on the HP Store page) aren't mentioned in this series documentation....

Hi @TzortzisG
I still have doubts according to the video the fb000 series is the same as the fb3000 and has only one slot.
for example, the model in the following link uses the same processor but has only one slot, depending on the graphics card it has.

When I first signed up to the HP Community and asked my question, I got an answer by Paul_Tikkanen EXPERT Level 22 where he basically informed me that HP Official documentation often has inaccuracies and errors. At the time I was very skeptical, but have since discovered that this statement was the result of many many years of answering questions here and this is why, personally, I try to doublecheck official HP PDFs, videos, etc with outside sources if possible.
The Reddit link I posted above is a thread where a Redditor bought the exact same model GregBunny has (Victus 15-fb3001nr) from Microcenter and upgraded it to a second 1TB SSD. Although I understand your doubts resistencia, this information from Reddit together with the datasheet line about dual storage (which Paul_Tikkanen explained correctly -even though it was partly an educated guess) makes me 100% positive that these systems (15-fb3000) have a soldered-on working second SSD slot. It has been known for some time that HP would introduce a second SSD slot on the "poor man's" Victus laptops (15-FA and 15-FB) but it was unknown which exactly of the current 15-fa2000 and 15-fb3000 motherboards would have it.
Last but not least, I read the interesting discussion that concerns the Omen 16 top-tier systems. These are completely different models and it matters none if they have the same CPU and GPU installed. I'm still researching the Omen MAX configurations but as far as I can tell HP has opted for a completely different motherboard layout....
